The master glared at me, "Are you lacking common sense, you foolish girl?"

Master said, "This is strange. Although Jing Yu is the son of the Demon Emperor, he has been practicing our Kunlun Taoist techniques since he was young. How could he have demonic energy?"

The Sheryugu Valley is located on the east side of the Houyi Peak in the Kunlun Mountains, but it is not the place where Houyi shot the sun. According to legend, the demon Jieyu, sealed in the Sheryugu Valley, was once a celestial god in ancient times. He was killed in a chaos caused by demons, but his soul remained intact. Surprisingly, he was reincarnated as a monster and practiced dark magic, feeding on human souls. During the reign of Emperor Yao, Houyi obtained the Sun-shooting Divine Bow bestowed by the Golden Mother Yuanjun, and finally shot and killed the demon here, using the divine power of the bow to seal his soul.

Master was startled and asked, "Could it be that the Yayu from the Sheri Valley has really started to cause trouble?"

The master could not continue to stare, quickly turned his head, and there seemed to be a shimmer in his eyes.

Guanghao Xianzun sighed and said, "In the past few decades, the Yama has repeatedly shown signs of awakening. It is likely because Jingyu inherited the blood essence of the Demon Emperor. The Yama sensed this unusual demonic energy and gradually awakened. The other day, when my disciple went to investigate, he was almost injured by the demonic energy in the valley."

Master said, "The places where Emperor Lord practiced cultivation are naturally filled with strong immortal energy. I have heard that there is a lotus pond outside his cave that has existed for thousands of years. It must be extremely spiritual as it has been under the Emperor Lord's seat for so long. If we can find one or two thousand-year-old lotus roots and turn them into diamond-shaped bones, although they may not be as good as those in front of the Buddha's seat, the difference should not be too far. This should be able to keep our little girl safe for the time being, right?"

I made a funny face and smiled at him.

After returning to Kunlun, my master discussed with his fellow senior disciples and decided to take me to the Cangling Ruins. Cangling Ruins is the place where the Eastern Emperor, after descending to the mortal realm, re-cultivated and eventually achieved enlightenment, returning to the heavenly realm. The Eastern Emperor is in charge of the immortal cultivation, and anyone who achieves immortality must first pay respects to the Eastern Emperor and then to the Golden Mother, before ascending to the heavenly court to meet the Primordial Heavenly Venerable.

In commemoration of this event, later generations named the mountain where he fought the Chi You as Houyi Mountain, and the valley where the Chi You was sealed as Shiri Valley. Taishang Laojun ordered his disciples to establish a sect here, which has been passed down from generation to generation. This is not only because of the spiritual richness of Kunlun Immortal Qi, but also to have the disciples guard against the Chi You.

Master Shibo Guanghao Xianzun said: "Let's hold off on the matter of the water chestnut for now, as the important matters take precedence"

As I thought this, I felt an overwhelming sympathy for my master. I patted his shoulder and said, "Master, do not worry. I will definitely find you a good disciple with innate talent and potential within this year and a half, so that you will not be left without a successor and your lineage will not be empty."

However, the seal of the Yayu has existed for four thousand years, and with the spiritual power of the many immortals of Kunlun suppressing it, how could it possibly break the seal and cause trouble in the mortal realm

The esteemed Immortal Guanghao sighed, "The bones and blood left by the Demon Emperor in the mortal realm are certainly not those of an ordinary person. We merely regarded him as the son of a mortal, and even if we noticed the peculiarity of his spiritual roots, we only attributed it to his exceptional talent. Who among us could have imagined that our disciple, whom we raised since childhood, would turn to the demonic path? Moreover, he practiced our Kunlun heart method, which likely suppressed the demonic energy. After all, we are merely Earth Immortals, and yet we failed to discern this for two hundred years. In contrast, the ancient magical beasts possess senses far beyond ours; they must have long sensed the presence of their kind nearby..."
